  My partner bought a diamond bracelet on Saturday afternoon for my birthday the following day, when he gave it to me Sunday morning the bracelet was to small and wouldn’t close on my wrist. We went back to prouds to see if we could get a larger one but they had nothing over a 19 in bracelet for within the $500 price range. So the sales person tried to push us to buy earnings rings necklaces , when we said no that’s not what we wanted, and we would like a refund, she said NO we don’t do refunds we can only exchange or give a credit, when my partner said you did not advise me of your policy when I purchased she then proceeded to point that it was on the bottom of the receipt, when my partner said that’s a bit late when you’ve already taken payment shesaid that’s our policy. After leaving the store absolutely appalled at what had just transpired, I went back to see where there refund policy was situated in store, as it is a legal requirement for it to be placed at eye level, when I asked where it was as I couldn’t see it displayed she pointed to the front counter where it was stuck at waist height, and anybody paying for a purchase there would block it from everybody else’s view. When I pointed this out she went and rang her manager again and then said we will refund you. So after totally ruining my birthday this could have been avoided with a refund at the start will never ever shop at prouds again just an appalling company.

  The staff were absolutely lovely and helped me as soon as they were able. There was a difficult customer in the store and they handled it professionally. Well done :)

  They always give great advice and go the extra mile if there isn't any in their store , they will hunt it down and have it transferred to the store.

  Husband purchased a bracelet that was a duplicate, policy says theyll just give you a credit, as my gift was that I "never changed my mind" legislation needs to change to cover unique cases as not every customer should be treated the same as every situation is unique to each consumer. As such, Now I have to spend $800 on jewellery I DO NOT NEED
